Sharing iPhone notes

If you have an iPhone, it's highly likely that you use the notes app most days for lists. The recent update allows you to draw, use colour and make check boxes for 'to do' lists which makes it even more useful. If you connect your app to your iCloud account, you can also share a note with specified people (by text or email etc) meaning you can all collaborate and share a 'to do' list. This is potentially really useful for both staff planning and student project work. The note can also then be evidenced if needs be.

To link your app to iCloud, go to 'settings', iCloud' and then turn 'notes' on.
When you create a note now, you will see an icon at the top which, when you click on it, allows you to select people from your contacts that you'd like to share it with. Be aware that, not only can they see notes and changes as they're made, they can also edit.

I've found this particularly useful when I'm working on a project and things need to get done but everybody's quite busy and time restricted. It means that tasks can be ticked off as and when someone has the time or information and everyone else can see that it's been done so nothing is duplicated. It is also very useful for students who need to think of ideas but may need to digest information first - they can add ideas as and when they come to them, not in a specific class when under pressure, allowing the less forthcoming students to be able to contribute more.
